First, download the Steam app on your smartphone. Then, sign in to your Steam account. Go to the main menu, select 'Steam Guard' under the 'Settings' or 'Account' tab, then 'Manage Steam Guard Account Security' and choose 'Get Steam Guard codes on my phone'. Boom, you're all set with that extra layer of security!
