How to Activate Parachute in GTA 5
To activate your parachute in GTA 5, first make sure you actually have one equipped (you can get one from Ammu-Nation stores). Once you're in mid-air, either after jumping off a high place or bailing out of an aircraft, you simply press the X button on PlayStation, the A button on Xbox, or the Left Mouse Button on PC. Remember, timing and altitude matter, so deploy it with enough space to glide to safety!

Just hit A on Xbox or X on Playstation, easy peasy. If you're on PC, it's the left click. But really, if you forget to grab a parachute first, all you'll be activating is a faceplant into the pavement. Some advice from a concerned citizen!
Got to disagree with the whole 'easy to remember' bit. I've definitely splatted more times than I care to admit forgetting which button to press. Also, make sure your character actually has a parachute equipped. Running off a building and mashing buttons in panic does not a parachute deploy.
