Adding a friend in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is super chill! First off, both you and your bud need to have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Then, one of you gotta open your island gate at the airport and choose to invite 'All my friends!' or use a Dodo Code. If you're visiting, head to your airport and ask to fly to a friend's island or enter their Dodo Code. Once you land, BAM, you're friends! Don't forget to whip out your NookPhone and add them as a Best Friend for extra perks.

Just fly to their island or invite them over. Done.

Honestly, it's easier than you think. I added my sister by visiting her island with a Dodo Code she gave me. We had to both be online at the same time, but once I arrived, we automatically became friends in-game. It was pretty cool, especially seeing each other's custom designs!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
