How to Add a Location on Instagram That Doesn't Exist

To add a location that doesn't exist on Instagram, open a Facebook app (since Instagram pulls location data from Facebook). Create a new post, tap Check In, and add your new location. Next time you post on Instagram, it should appear!
Honestly, isn't it possible that the place is too hip and new to be on Instagram yet? Just give it time!
If the location doesn't exist, it may be easier to tag a nearby existing location to avoid any hassle.
