Easy peasy! Just click on 'Games' at the top of the Steam client, then select 'Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library.' From there, you can browse for the game's executable or use the 'Browse' button to find it on your computer. Once you've added it, you can launch it directly from Steam with all your overlay features ready to roll!

Just drag and drop the game's shortcut into your Steam library. Works like a charm!

Honestly, I don鈥檛 see the point. If it鈥檚 not on Steam, why bother? Just play it outside Steam.

Done this a bunch! Adding non-Steam games lets me use the Steam overlay for screenshots and chatting with friends while playing. Super convenient.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
