From the chat window, look for a little person icon with a plus sign, click it, and then search for your friend. Easy peasy!
All you need to do is hit 'Contacts', then 'Add Contact', and search by their name, email, or Skype ID. Voila!
If you know their exact Skype ID or email, just search it and add them. Boom. Done.
