Adding a friend on Steam is super simple! Just launch Steam and click on 'Friends & Chat' at the bottom right of the Steam client. From there, hit 'Add a Friend' where you'll find an option to enter your friend's Steam code or send them an invitation link. If you know their exact username, you can also search for it directly. It's kinda like sending a friend request on any social media platform, but for gamers.
Honestly, it's easier to have your friend add you. Why bother searching when they can do the work?
