Just a heads up, not every amiibo works! Some amiibo just give you posters instead of visiting. Make sure your amiibo is compatible with Animal Crossing before getting too excited.

Honestly, amiibos are cool and all, but I think the game's charm is in the surprise of which villagers you get. But, if you're set on getting a specific one, the Nook Stop terminal's your go-to.

Super easy! Just go to the Nook Stop terminal in the Resident Services building in your Animal Crossing game. There, you'll find an option to 'Invite amiibo camper.' Pop your amiibo figure or card onto the NFC touchpoint on your right Joy-Con or the middle of your Pro Controller, and voil脿! Your desired amiibo character will come visit your campsite. Just remember, you might have to invite them a few times before they decide to move in.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
