Adding Animal Crossing Amiibo cards is super easy and fun! First, make sure you're at the point in the game where you can use the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services. Then, select the 'Invite a Camper' option. Pop your amiibo card onto the right Joy-Con's NFC touchpoint or the NFC reader on your controller, and voila! Your chosen amiibo character will pop up in your game, ready to visit your campsite.

Honestly, I never found the amiibo cards that exciting. The game's already full of charm without needing extra bits of plastic.

Just tap the amiibo card to your right Joy-Con or NFC reader and you're good to go. Your fav Animal Crossing character will show up like magic!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
