Super easy! Just make sure the second player has a profile set up on the same Nintendo Switch. Then, launch the game and on the title screen, select the '+' icon to add them as a resident in your island. They'll need to go through a short intro with Tom Nook and then, voila, multiplayer fun begins!

Hot take: Just play solo. Adding more players just complicates your island vibe.

I added my sister and it was a blast! Just get them to create a user profile on your Switch, start the game, and hit the '+' to add them. They'll get their own house and everything. It's like building a little community together!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
