Craft a Beacon using the Fabricator, then just drop it near your base and name it whatever you like. Easy peasy!

I usually make a few Beacons ahead of time. Fabricate one, then just swim outside and place it where you want to mark your base.

Make a Beacon at your Fabricator (1 Copper Ore, 1 Titanium), then place it near your base and edit the label so you can find your way back.
