Quick tip: If you’re having trouble, make sure the contact is saved with the full international phone number, including the country code.
I'll vouch for it – I just added my friend's number last week! Saved it in my phone's Contacts, opened WhatsApp, and there she was!
You can also add contacts directly through your phone’s Contacts app. Just save the number, and it should appear in WhatsApp automatically.
Honestly, just save in your phone’s address book, it's not rocket science!
