You can't add Fallout 76 to Steam directly since it's not available on Steam. It's a Bethesda launcher exclusive, so no Steam perks for this one, folks.
Sadly, you can't directly add Fallout 76 to Steam because it's a Bethesda game, not a native Steam game. But, here's a workaround - add it as a non-Steam game! Open Steam, go to the bottom left corner, click 'Add a Game,' then 'Add a Non-Steam Game.' Browse for Fallout 76 or its launcher in your files, add it, and voila! It's in your Steam library, sort of like duct taping a flashlight to a bicycle. It won't give you Steam achievements or trading cards, but it lets you launch the game through Steam and use the Steam overlay.
