Adding friends in Animal Crossing: New Leaf is super chill! First, you gotta make sure both you and your buddy have each other's Nintendo 3DS Friend Codes. Exchange those digits! Then, open your gate at the train station in your town by talking to Porter, or visit your friend's town when their gate is open. This way, you can hang out, trade items, and just have a blast together. Remember, visiting another player's town requires an internet connection. Happy friending!

Quick tip: Make sure you've got a decent internet connection or else visiting towns will be more of a dream than reality. And don't forget, respect your friend's town! No trampling flowers!

Honestly, just text your friend and swap those 3DS Friend Codes. It's the digital version of swapping friendship bracelets. Super easy!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
