Adding friends in GTA Online is pretty straightforward. Firstly, you gotta be in the game. Then, pause it to bring up the menu. Navigate to 'Friends' tab in the Social Club menu. Here, you can find your friend by their Rockstar ID and send them a friend request. Once they accept, boom, you're connected and ready to cause some chaos together!
I always just shoot them a text IRL and ask for their Rockstar ID. Then it's a smooth sail in the menu to add them. Way easier when you're trying to link up for a heist or just wreak havoc.
