Just talk to Orville at the airport and choose 'local play.' Your friend does the same. Easy!

Adding friends on Animal Crossing via local play is super chill! First, make sure both you and your friend's consoles are nearby each other. Then, one of you needs to open your gate at the airport by talking to Orville and choosing 'I want visitors.' Next, choose 'local play.' Your buddy now selects 'I wanna fly' at their airport, chooses 'local play,' and should see your island to join. Bam! Instant hangout session.

Honestly, the whole process can be a bit of a hassle. But once you figure it out, visiting each other's islands becomes super fun!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
