IMO, Nintendo's friend system is a bit clunky but still, find 'em via Friend Codes and hop into 'Online.'
Friend Codes are key. Exchange 'em, then head to 'Online,' 'Friends,' and boom, you're ready to brawl!
First, make sure you and your friend are both connected to Nintendo Switch Online. Then, head over to 'Online,' select 'Smash,' and invite your friend from the 'Friends' list. Game on!
Just swap friend codes and use the 'Online' menu. Simple!
