Easy peasy! On your Xbox Series S, press the Xbox button to open the guide, go to the 'People' tab, and select 'Find someone.' Then, just enter their gamertag, select 'Add friend,' and choose 'Friend' or 'Favorite.'

You can also add friends through the Xbox mobile app! Just open the app, tap the 'Social' tab, and use the search function to find and add your buddies!
