Guys, just use GIPHY. You can find the GIF you want and share it directly to your Instagram Stories.
Only Stories support GIFs natively on Instagram. Find the 'GIF' sticker when creating a Story and search for your fave.
From my experience, converting GIFs to videos works best. Convert the GIF to an MP4 using an online tool, then upload it like a normal video.
