Adding friends on Apex Legends for PS4 is pretty simple! Just press the PS button to go to your home screen, and then navigate to the Friends icon. Select 'Search' and type in your friend's PSN ID. Once their profile pops up, hit 'Add Friend.' Boom, you're all set to squad up and jump into the action together!
Just send them a friend request through PSN. It's the same as adding anyone else on your PS4. Go to Friends, search for their PSN ID, and add them. After that, they'll appear in Apex Legends as a friend too.
Honestly, I just use the game's option to connect to friends. In the lobby, there's an option to add friends by entering their ID. Works every time.
