How to Add Perk Points in Fallout 4
Oh, wanna beef up your Sole Survivor with some extra perk points, huh? Here's the scoop: You can’t just add perk points out of thin air if you’re playing the vanilla game. Each level up gives you one perk point to spend. So, get out there, bash some Raider skulls, help out settlements (yes, Preston’s never-ending quests count), and level up the good ol' fashioned way! Now, if you're not against using mods or console commands (PC master race perks), there are ways to magically bestow those points upon yourself. Mods like ‘Cheat Terminal’ or entering 'player.addperk [perk ID]' in the console command window can make you as OP as you desire.

For those on PC wanting a quick perk boost, just hit the tilde key (~) to open up the console command window and type: 'player.addperkpoints #', with '#' being the number of perk points you desire. Poof! Instant gratification.
Honestly, just play the game and level up. Adds to the fun and challenge, IMO.
