Pro tip: Make sure your Pokemon is fully healed before dropping it in a gym. Nothing worse than leaving a half-dead Pikachu standing guard.

First, secure the gym with your team. Then, tap on it, hit the ‘add’ button, and select your Pokemon! Your Mon will stand proud.

You can't add to an enemy gym. You gotta battle and conquer it with your team's might first. Then you can add your Pokemon once it’s yours!

To add a Pokemon to a gym in Pokemon GO, just make sure the gym is controlled by your team. Tap the gym, hit the plus icon, and choose the Pokemon you want to leave there. Easy peasy!

Gyms full? You gotta wait until there's an open slot. So either help defend or head to another gym to add your Pokemon.

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
