Just get a compatible NVMe SSD, open up the PS5, pop it in the designated slot, and close it up. It's like doing surgery on a robot... kinda.

First-hand experience here: make sure your SSD meets the speed requirements. I learned the hard way that not all NVMe drives are compatible with the PS5. Follow Sony's guidelines to avoid any mishaps.

Just follow Sony's instructions. No need to complicate it.

Adding a hard drive to your PS5? First, turn off the console and unplug it. Then, remove the cover, unscrew the expansion slot, and insert the compatible NVMe SSD. Replace everything and you're good to go!

Make sure you have the correct SSD that fits with the PS5's specs. Otherwise, it won't work!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
