Adding someone as a friend on Valorant is super easy! Just open the game, click on the 'Add Friends' button by clicking the friend icon on the bottom right corner of the screen. Then, enter their Riot ID and the tagline (it's like the username#1234 format). Hit enter, and voila, friend request sent!

lol just ask for their Riot ID and tag, then pop it into your game. Easy peasy.

Make sure you got their Riot ID and tag right. I tried adding a buddy and kept getting errors cause I mixed up their tag. It's case sensitive too, so double check that!
