Honestly, it's not worth the hassle. Just get your friend to buy the game; way less complicated.

Just log in, go to settings, hit up the Family tab, enable it, and pick your pals. Easy peasy.

Adding someone to Family Sharing on Steam is pretty straightforward. First, make sure you're logged into the Steam account you want to share from. Then head over to Steam > Settings > Family, where you'll see 'Family Library Sharing'. Here you can authorize the computer you're currently using and manage other computers and users. To add someone, you just need to enable sharing on the computer they'll be using and authorize their Steam account. Remember, you can share your game library with up to 5 accounts and on up to 10 devices!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
