It's pretty straightforward: open the back, remove the battery, slot in the SSD, put everything back together, and format it. Boom, you're done!

Why mess with the internals? Just grab a high-speed microSD card; it's way easier and works like a charm!

First, you'll have to remove the back cover of the Steam Deck by unscrewing it. Once you're in, carefully detach the battery to avoid any electrical hazards. Next, locate the M.2 slot and insert your SSD. Screw the SSD securely in place, reattach the battery, and then close up the back cover. Finally, power on your Steam Deck and format the new SSD if necessary!

I've done this myself! Take off the back cover, disconnect the battery, pop the SSD into the M.2 slot, secure it, and put it all back together. Don't forget to format the new drive when you boot up!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
