First things first, you gotta link your Ubisoft account to Steam. Basically, when you buy a Ubisoft game on Steam and launch it, it’ll prompt you to log in or create a Ubisoft account. Do that, and bam, it’s linked. Now, when you're on your Steam Deck, install and run the Ubisoft game through Steam. It should automatically open Ubisoft Connect and let you play your game. Remember, not all games play nice with SteamOS right out of the box, so you might need to tweak some settings or use Proton compatibility layers for a smooth experience.

Honestly, just use a PC. The Steam Deck is cool and all, but when it comes to Ubisoft games, a traditional setup might save you the headache.

In simple terms, just buy the game on Steam, and it should handle the rest. Ubisoft games on Steam usually require you to log into Ubisoft Connect anyway, so it'll all sync up.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
