You can’t directly add Xbox friends on a PS4. Different consoles, different ecosystems!

A workaround is to meet up on cross-platform games and add each other in-game. Fortnite or Warzone is a good start!

Yup, you can't add an Xbox friend directly on PS4. Stick to games that support crossplay.
