Unfortunately, you can't add Xbox friends directly on PS5 since they're separate platforms. You can only add friends who are on PlayStation Network.

Win official PlayStation gift cards by playing games on Playbite!

The best way is to connect via a game that supports cross-play. Find your friend in-game and add them there!

You can't add Xbox friends directly on the PS5, but you can still play cross-platform games together if the game supports it. Just add each other within the game's friend or user interface.

No way to add Xbox friends on PS5, stick to in-game friends lists for cross-play titles.

From my experience, you need to play a cross-platform game like Fortnite or Call of Duty: Warzone. Add your friend in-game, and you'll be able to play together regardless of the console!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company. The logos and other identifying marks attached are trademarks of and owned by each represented company and/or its affiliates. Please visit each company's website for additional terms and conditions.
