From my experience, using third-party apps like InShot or similar video editors works like a charm. You can add your own music to your videos there and then upload them to your Facebook story. Super easy!
Easy peasy! Just save the music clip you wanna use on your phone. Then, create a video or photo for your story, and edit it in an app that lets you add music. Save the final edit with the music included, then post it to your Facebook story as usual!
Honestly, Facebook should have better options for adding personal music by now. Anyway, just do it the old-school way by recording your screen with music playing.
