You can remove the straps entirely if you prefer. Just pop them out of the holes on the sides. I do this for my garden Crocs!

Why adjust? Just rock them as they are! But if you must, flipping the strap back and forth should do the trick.

If the strap feels too tight or loose, try soaking it in warm water to make it more pliable, then adjust it to your liking.
