Press the Xbox button, navigate to Profile & System > Settings > Devices & Accessories, then select your headset and tweak the mic monitoring. Works like a charm!

From the Xbox dashboard, press the Xbox button, go to Settings > Audio, and adjust the mic monitoring slider to your liking. Tried it myself, works great!
