To advance in levels in Tetris, just keep clearing lines! The more lines you clear, the faster the pieces fall, and eventually, you’ll level up.
I’ve found practicing in Marathon Mode helps a lot. You get a feel for the increasing speed and how to manage it better.
Just hold down the rotate button and pray, LOL. But seriously, clearing lines consistently is your best bet.
