Map awareness is key. Use markers from teammates to get a rough idea of where to aim.
Use the sound of enemy engines and watch for movement in the trees or bushes. Oh, and those tracer rounds can give away positions too!
Ah, the ol' 'how do I hit what I can't see' conundrum! Use your minimap and listen for enemy engine noises. Sometimes a lucky guess is what it takes!
