To appear offline in Animal Crossing on your Switch, you gotta play a little hide and seek with your settings. Head over to your profile on your Switch's Home menu, click 'User Settings,' then scroll down to 'Play Activity Settings.' There, set 'Who can see your play activity' to 'No one.' Boom, you're a ghost!
