Right now, you actually can't appear offline directly in Warframe! Your best bet is to set your status to 'Do Not Disturb' or just play in solo mode. Happy ninja-ing!

Sorry to say, Warframe doesn't have an 'appear offline' feature. Just switch to solo mode or turn off notifications.
