How to Archive Highlights on Instagram
You can't archive highlights directly, but you can remove them from your profile. Go to your highlights, press and hold the one you want to remove, then select 'Delete Highlight.' The stories will still be in your Archive, where you can re-add them anytime!

Just delete the highlight from your profile. The stories remain in your Archive, which you can access from your profile’s menu (three lines at the top right), then 'Archive.'
Pro tip: You can't archive highlights directly, but they still live in your story archive after you remove them from highlights. So, don’t worry!
