Just head to your outpost terminal, go to the crew management section, and assign crew members by clicking on their names. Done and dusted!
Just find an outpost terminal, click 'Manage Crew,' and drag your crew members into the slots. You're all set!
Honestly, it's more confusing than it should be. Use the terminal at the outpost and follow the prompts.
I've assigned my crew to the outpost by accessing the terminal, selecting the outpost, and then picking the crew members from the list. Worked like a charm for me.
