How to assign someone in Fallout 4
RatingLink路8 months agoAssigning settlers in Fallout 4 is pretty straightforward! Just walk up to the person you want to assign in your settlement. Then, enter workshop mode by pressing the 'Change View' button (or the equivalent key on PC or PS4). Point at the settler you want to assign, and you'll see an option to 'Command' them. After that, just point them towards the task you want them to do, like manning a guard post, working on crops, or operating a store, and hit the 'Assign' button. Bam! Settler assigned!

Just hit them with the 'You're working here now' move in workshop mode. Seriously, just command and assign. Easy peasy.
Honestly, sometimes it feels like you're talking to a wall trying to assign settlers in Fallout 4. Just make sure you're in workshop mode, and it should work. Patience is key!
Pro tip: Make sure your settlers aren't already assigned to something else if they're not following your commands. The game doesn't always make it super obvious.
