Assigning someone in Fallout 4 is easy once you get the hang of it! First, you gotta be in workshop mode. Then, just walk up to the settler you wanna assign to something. You'll see a command menu pop up - press the button to command (depends on what you're playing on, so look for the prompt on the bottom of your screen). Aim at the thing you wanna assign them to, like a guard post, crops, or a store, and there should be an option to 'assign'. Boom, done! Your settler is now hard at work.

Quick tip: Make sure the thing you're trying to assign a settler to isn't already maxed out on workers. Some jobs can only have one settler, while farms can have more. If it's full, find something else for your settler to do!

Honestly, just mash buttons until it works. That's how I figured it out.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
