Assigning someone to crops in Fallout 4 is super easy once you get the hang of it. First, you need to be in workshop mode. Find a settler you wanna assign, click on them, then just click on the crop you want them to tend. They'll start farming it, easy peasy! Make sure your crops are in the green when you're looking at them to ensure they can be assigned.

Just walk up to a settler in workshop mode, click on them, and then click on whatever crop you want them to work on. Bam, you've got yourself a farmer.

Honestly, it's a bit of a hassle. Sometimes settlers don't listen or the game bugs out. But most of the time, just clicking on the settler and then the crop works fine.

Don't overthink it, just make those settlers work! Click, assign, and watch your food supplies grow. It's that simple, and totally worth it for building up your settlements.
