To assign weapons on your Starfield ship, access the ship customization menu at a spaceport or landing zone. Select 'Weapons' and drag the desired weapon into an available weapon slot. Bam! You're ready to blast some asteroids and hostile aliens!
Just go to the ship customization screen at any dock and drag-and-drop your weapons into the slots. Easy peasy!
