Click the nation you want to attack, declare war, and click to move your armies into their territory. Simple as that!
Open the diplomacy menu, declare war on your target, and then send your troops over to conquer their cities. War is all about strategy!
From what I've experienced, you just declare war and send your units marching. Just keep your economy and morale in check!
Honestly, just hit the declare war button and start sending your troops wherever you see enemy cities.
