Actually, there's a cooler way. Just drag the entire SteamApps folder (found within your Steam installation directory) to another location. Bam! Everything's backed up, including games, downloads, and more. Not the 'official' method, but hey, it works.

Why bother backing up? Steam stores all your games in the cloud. Just re-download whenever. Saves time and space.

Backing up games on Steam is super straightforward! Just open Steam and go to your game Library. Right-click the game you want to backup and select 'Backup Game Files...'. Then choose where to save them and voil脿, you're done!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
