How to Backup Save Files on Steam
BruisingTopaz路7 months agoBacking up your save files on Steam is pretty easy! Just head over to your Steam installation directory (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam), find the 'userdata' folder, and look for the folder with your SteamID. Inside, you'll find folders for each game you have. Just copy the ones you need to another location, and voila, you've backed up your save files!

Just use Steam's built-in backup feature, folks. Go to your game library, right-click the game you want to backup saves for, select 'Backup game files,' and follow the on-screen instructions. Easy peasy.

I always manually backup my saves by finding the specific game folder in 'userdata'. It's a bit more work, but it gives me peace of mind knowing I have a copy of everything important. Plus, I can easily transfer them to another PC this way.
