On Android, just go to Settings > Chats > Chat backup, and click 'Back Up'! Don't forget to link your Google Drive ;)
For a fast backup, on both Android and iPhone, you can set it to automatically back up daily, weekly, or monthly.
Backup? Just send all your chats to your email. Old school but it works!
