Hot take: Don't waste too much time on bartering. Grab what you need and get back to exploring. Sure, you can save a few caps here and there, but the real fun's in the wasteland, not haggling over prices.

From personal experience, always keep an eye out for items that may not weigh much but are worth a lot of Caps. These are great for bartering. Also, investing perks into your Charisma stat can really benefit your bartering skills in the long run, making every trade more advantageous for you.

Bartering in Fallout 4 is pretty simple but crucial for survival. Just walk up to any vendor, and press the 'Talk' button to start the trade. Make sure you've got items to sell or enough Caps to buy what you need. And don't forget to equip any gear that boosts your Charisma before haggling; it'll get you better prices both buying and selling!

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
