To bat in MLB The Show 22, load up a game, select your batting stance, and use the left stick to aim your swing. Time it right using X for a normal swing, Square for a power swing, or Circle for a contact swing. Practice makes perfect!

Timing is everything. Aim with the left stick, swing with X, Square, or Circle depending on the hit type you want. Simple!

I've found that mastering the left stick to aim and using X for a normal swing works best for consistent hits. Practice in practice mode until it feels natural.

Step one: Time your swings! Press X for a standard swing, Square for a power swing, and Circle for a contact swing. The left stick helps you aim. Get comfy and practice a lot to get the hang of it.
