Got a grain of patience? Make your character read and study a lot to boost smarts. Choose writing-related activities in school and college. Then, choose the Writer career and start writing. Keep at it and fame will follow.
I did it by maxing out the Smarts stat during childhood and school years. Focus on education, pick English in college, and become a Writer after graduation. Write, write, write, and you'll be famous before you know it!
