How to be a police officer in GTA San Andreas
Becoming a cop in GTA San Andreas ain't like passing a test at the DMV. But, you can kinda play cop by getting into a police car and starting the Vigilante missions. Just hop into any police vehicle, could be a car, a bike, or even that chopper if you're feeling fancy, then hit the mission trigger (usually the right directional button or key). Boom, you're now a one-man justice dispenser. Happy hunting!

You guys are missing the point. It's GTA; you're not supposed to want to be the cops. You're supposed to run from them!
Actually, there's no official way to become a full-time police officer within the game's mechanics. You鈥檙e basically role-playing with the Vigilante missions. GTA doesn't have a 'become cop' feature, so it鈥檚 all about imagination and making the most of what you've got.
